  1. ashley - you don't know me, but i found your website through another and i just spent hours reading your blog. my heart aches for your loss and i am so sorry that you and your husband have had to endure this.

    BUT, our God is faithful! I see His hand in your life through all of this and I am so thankful that you chose life for Ethan! Ethan is nestled in our precious Lord's lap and is experiencing the glory of Jesus face to face!

    I will continue to pray for you and your husband in the coming months. I know that the grieving process is just that.. a process. But i pray that the Holy Spirit will minister to you both and bring you peace and comfort.

    You are an inspiration to me and i pray that soon your arms will hold new life.

  2. I just wanted to write a note of encouragement and blessing to you and your family. I lost a baby to trisomy 13 five years ago, but my sweet child was lost early in my second trimester. I stumbled onto your site while I am writing a paper for a class for nursing school about trisomy 13 and couldn't leave without reading Ethan's story and taking a moment to pray for you and your family. My favorite Bible Verse during the time of my loss was Ephesians 3:20 "now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work withing us, to him be Glory.." I pray that for you can trust His power and believe you will hold your precious one again someday and that your arms will have a brother or sister for Ethan very soon.
