BUT, our God is faithful! I see His hand in your life through all of this and I am so thankful that you chose life for Ethan! Ethan is nestled in our precious Lord's lap and is experiencing the glory of Jesus face to face!
I will continue to pray for you and your husband in the coming months. I know that the grieving process is just that.. a process. But i pray that the Holy Spirit will minister to you both and bring you peace and comfort.

I just wanted to write a note of encouragement and blessing to you and your family. I lost a baby to trisomy 13 five years ago, but my sweet child was lost early in my second trimester. I stumbled onto your site while I am writing a paper for a class for nursing school about trisomy 13 and couldn't leave without reading Ethan's story and taking a moment to pray for you and your family. My favorite Bible Verse during the time of my loss was Ephesians 3:20 "now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work withing us, to him be Glory.." I pray that for you can trust His power and believe you will hold your precious one again someday and that your arms will have a brother or sister for Ethan very soon.
I am married to my wonderful husband Keith. We are from Omaha, NE and are currently living in the Kansas City area. Our first son was diagnosed with Trisomy 13 in utero at 19 weeks of pregnancy. Ethan Robert Hoff was born an angel on July 6, 2010. God blessed us with a second baby boy, Wyatt Keith Hoff, on September 4,2011. We are honored to be their parents, and we know that Wyatt has a special angel watching over him.
