Wyatt's 4 month birthday was on Wednesday, and I can't believe he's now 1/3 of a year old! He is changing so much and so quickly. I now often hear him babbling to himself when he wakes up in his pack n play in the morning. It's pretty darn cute. Wyatt also has started to laugh at certain things we say and sing to him. I love it! It's so much fun to be able to interact with him more and more. He still sleeps in our room, and we're not in any hurry to change that. The layout of the house we're in now is a little different, and his room is on the opposite end of the house. Since we still get up to put his pacifier back in his mouth a few times a night, we'd rather keep him just a few feet away. :)
Wyatt had his 4 month checkup this morning and everything looked great. He weighed in at 14lbs 12.6oz (47th percentile), was 25in long (52nd percentile) and had a head circumference of 16.75in (57th percentile). So he quite literally is an average baby right now! He screamed like a banshee when he got his shots, but settled down a few minutes later. I owe him many ice cream cones when he is of age. Hopefully he'll handle it better this evening than he did the last time, but we're bracing ourselves...
So that's the latest on Mr. Wyatt. Here are his 4 month birthday pics:
